Meta One Business Plans in India: Essential vs Advanced, Prices, Features and Is It Worth Paying?

In September 2026, Meta launched Meta One in India: paid subscriptions across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Meta AI. Most headlines focused on the ₹79 WhatsApp Plus plan for stickers and themes. For businesses, the more important part is the set of creator and business plans, one of which finally unlocks clickable links in organic Instagram posts and Reels.
Here's what each plan includes and who should actually pay.
The business and creator plans

There are also individual plans (WhatsApp Plus at ₹79, Instagram Plus and Facebook Plus at ₹99, Core at ₹549 and Premium at ₹1,950) focused on personalisation and AI usage. Those aren't aimed at businesses.
Meta has said features, pricing and availability vary by region, app and account. Always check the subscription screen inside the app for your actual price and what's included.
The headline feature: links in posts and Reels
For years, Instagram's rule was "link in bio". Advanced changes that for subscribers, letting you add links directly to organic feed posts and Reels.
Why it matters:
- A Reel about your new menu can link straight to your ordering page
- A course explainer Reel can link to the enrolment page
- A product Reel can link to that product, not your homepage
Why it might not matter much:
- Many local customers still prefer to DM or WhatsApp rather than click
- You can already link from Stories and ads without a subscription
- ₹2,099 a month is about ₹25,000 a year, which could fund a decent amount of Meta ads that already include links
Who should consider each plan
Essential (₹639) makes sense if:
- Fake accounts are impersonating your business (common for popular cafés, coaching centres and brands)
- Customers ask "is this the real account?" before paying
- You rely on WhatsApp and want the verified channel and more Business Agent capacity
Advanced (₹2,099) makes sense if:
- Instagram is a primary sales channel and you post several Reels a week
- You can measure the extra clicks (use UTM links; see GA4 tracking)
- A team manages the account and you need proper access without sharing passwords
- You want exportable analytics for reporting
Expert and Max: agencies, large brands and multi-location businesses with heavy messaging needs.
Probably skip it for now if: you post occasionally, most enquiries come from Google Maps or WhatsApp, or your budget is tight. Get the fundamentals right first: a consistent content framework, real reviews and a fast website.
How to test Advanced without wasting money
- Subscribe for one month (check cancellation terms first)
- Add UTM-tagged links to every Reel and post, for example

- Keep it only if the extra enquiries are worth more than ₹2,099
What about the verified badge?
A badge helps trust, but it doesn't increase reach or rankings on its own. For local businesses, trust is built more by real photos, reviews, consistent posting and fast replies. The badge is worth it mainly where impersonation is a real risk.
